Our peer support refresher course is designed to enhance your knowledge of peer support which will also help you build on your self-care and resilience skills. This is a half day course delivered on MS Teams.

What does it cost?
There is no charge for this training for Home Office forces.
Who's it for?
This course is aimed at individuals who have completed the initial peer support course.
How will the session be run?
The course is delivered on MS Teams.
What if I miss it?
Regular courses are available, subject to your force having adopted this training.

What you will learn:

The peer support refresher course is aimed at individuals who have completed the initial peer support course.  It is designed to enhance your knowledge of peer support and to give you extra knowledge to help you build on your self-care and resilience along with escalation procedures.

The training aims to refresh and enhance the skills individuals have already. It also aims to give knowledge of how to implement self-care plans to assist colleagues.

How to access this training

To be considered, you must firstly contact your force wellbeing lead who may put your name forward. Please note we are unable to accept individual applications for this course.
