The Oscar Kilo awards have been created to recognise the amazing work being done to provide wellbeing support across UK policing.
Each year we ask forces to submit entries for any work or projects that have made a difference to the wellbeing of their officers and staff.

Award categories
This year, we've taken a fresh approach to our awards categories. Based on feedback we've taken in from forces, we’ve introduced new categories that reflect the real work happening across policing to support wellbeing – giving you more ways to showcase what your force is doing.
Below are the new categories and the application criteria for each category.
The categories
- Peer support
- OK9 wellbeing dogs
- Operation Hampshire
- Healthy living (sleep and fatigue, physical fitness, nutrition)
- Occupational health
- Trauma support and suicide prevention
- Support for police families or police leavers
