Family booklet

With the help of North Wales Police, Oscar Kilo have put together a booklet for forces to give to police families.  The booklet is only a starter for ten and completely customisable so that you can add in your own narrative including:

  • A message from your Chief Constable
  • Your Force crest
  • Local contact details and resources

Giving a booklet is a great way to introduce families to policing and give them more information about the job and its challenges. Most importantly it lets them know what they can do to support their loved ones who have just joined the service and equally important the support that they can access too.

The booklet can be an online resource and it can also be printed so that it can be handed out at attestation events, recruitment events and family days.

Top tips for implementation

Tip 1
Get support from comms and engagement to customise the content.
Tip 2
Ask the Chief to provide an introduction.
Tip 3
