For the first time, officers, staff, volunteers and specials who are not able to complete the survey locally through their force can take part in the National Police Workforce and Wellbeing Survey 2026 through the Oscar Kilo website. This page is where you'll find the link.
Access this years' survey here, through Oscar Kilo
For the first time, if you can’t complete the survey through your force, you can now access it here, on the Oscar Kilo website.
This means officers, staff, volunteers and specials in forces that are not running the survey locally can still take part and help shape the national picture.
Before you start
If your force is running the survey locally, please complete it through your force’s own link.
The Oscar Kilo route is only for people who are not able to access the survey locally through their force.
This is important because forces taking part locally will receive their own results and insights, helping them understand the experiences of their workforce and identify where improvements are needed.
Why take part?
Last year, over 40,000 people across policing took part, helping create the clearest picture yet of what it’s really like to work in policing today.
That feedback is already being used to:
- shape work on sleep, fatigue and recovery
- inform policing reform
- support deeper work on issues like psychological safety and the drivers of wellbeing
This year’s survey continues that work.
It looks at the things that really shape the job - including workload, leadership, team culture, organisational support and wellbeing.
Who can access it?
You can use this route if you:
- work in policing
- are an officer, staff member, volunteer or special
- cannot access the survey through your force
You’ll need an Oscar Kilo account to log in and access the survey link. This helps make sure only people working in policing can complete it.
